How long does the expungement process take?
It can take up to 3 to 9 months to completely expunge a charge from your criminal record, if the filing fees are paid promptly. It is our goal to file paperwork immediately to streamline the process. There are times when the justice system is backed up which may delay the process even more. After filing the paperwork, it is merely a waiting game until you get a decision letter in the mail or a court date.
